Nerd stuff!

Yeah, I am Nerd.

Just bought Marvels Essental Ghost Rider Vol. 1.
Not too bad, but not what I had expected. I think that if I took the time to read some of it first, I would have bought Silver Surfer Vol.1 instead.

But thats what you get when you impulse buy! Ah well.

I think that Silver Surfer being in the 2nd Fantastic Four movie is gonna be awesome! I really enjoyed the first one, it was nice and crisp and light-hearted. I call that sort of movie a serving of 'Hero-Lite'.

Watched the Reeves Superman recently too....watched it twice. lol.
Its good fun, some of effects are sooo painfull, but it came out in '78, so I cant complain too much. (The scene where he is running next to the train is particularly cringe worthy...)

Oh, and a Nerd question for you: What is the name of Matt Murdock's (Daredevil) love intrest for the first 40 or so early comics?

Dude,there is something I always wanted to ask a fellow comic fan.Remeber the old Super Friends Episode made by Hannah Barbara....and you remeber Wonder Woman having an invisible plane....what was the purpose having one if you could anyway see her through her jet?That always bugged and I thought maybe you knew!

I know, that was always really weird. They had that in the Wonder Woman TV show as well.
Now that I think about it, it may have been a design requirement. I mean, having an invisible plane that you cant see the pilot through would make sense, but how would you depict it and keep your audience involved? The target age group was about 6-15 years of age, so they probably didnt want to loose them. I cant be certain, but thats what I think...
